Coating for Gravestone

Sample Gray 1piece、Black 1piece

Photocatalyst PALCCOAT CLEAR-P (undercoat) + CLEAR-G (topcoat)

photocatalytic coat for gravestone 2After half covered, the surface is cleaned and degreased with alcohol.

photocatalytic coat for gravestone 3Normally, an undercoat is not required for inorganic materials such as stone, but we applied CLEAR-P (undercoat) in order to improve the adhesion of the photocatalytic topcoat. Apply 3 layers while drying.

After drying, photocatalytic topcoat CLEAR-G (topcoat) is applied. This time, we adopted it the most transparent solution, it's normally for glass coating. This is also applied in three layers while drying.

Dry. The film is further hardened under sunlight (ultraviolet rays) to make it more robust.

As expected, when divided in half, the white dullness stands out on the dark color base material.

On the whitish color base material, it is not very noticeable, although it depends on the seeing angle.

[Checking hydrophilicity 1st time]

Spray water on the surface to check the hydrophilicity.

Let the first wash air dry once in the sunlight.

[Checking hydrophilicity 2nd time]

Dry in sunlight once, then spray with water again to check the hydrophilicity.
